Here are a bunch of projects I have had the great opportunity to work on or simply to be a part of.
From my years of B-boying in NYC, my crew and I had the opportunity to be featured in this music video
dancing on the roof top of a Bronx apartment building. Luckily for us, Jay-Z is a billionaire and couldn't afford to pay us youth in this video.
CollegeHumor.com's amazing b-side of N.Y. State of Mind
I was the lead Rebel Fighter and lead Storm Trooper dancing in this video. You have no idea how painful it is dancing in a storm trooper outfit!
3.9+ million views.
I worked on this music video with my friend Chioke Nassor when he was just starting out to become an amazing director. I helped him secure the location at my high school (which after the music video came out, the school told me personally that they and the entire faculty hated me).
My cameos are at :58-1:03 & 2:23-2:35
Unfortunately, I didn't make the spot light cut, but I was in the background rocking out in slacks and a button down tucked in.
(think I came directly from a job interview)
Another music video which I helped my friend Chioke Nassor (director) with. I worked on set, picked up Mr. Lif from the airport and El P from his BK apartment. That's me doing silhouette windmills at 3:20
The producers of this music video cornered me at work (PostWorks NY) and made me dance. I'm at 1:25 & 2:54
I was never that big into competitions, I was just someone having fun and being apart of an amazing community in NYC.
Beat Global offers arts education programs rooted in Hip Hop culture to youth in under-resourced communities and people with disabilities. Can you find me?!
Why not?!
